Said a tearful goodbye to my GT500 today

Well today was finally the day.

The stars lined up and Momma D gave me the go-ahead to pull the trigger on some major mods that I have been waiting somewhat patiently to do. Today I dropped the car off at the best body and paint shop in the Raleigh area to do a bunch of work and installs on parts that I have been accumulating for a while. It should look great when it is done and I will post pictures of the work as it is being done as the shop is going to keep me updated as the work progresses.

I will be flying back out in April during my break between classes to pick the car up and do a high-speed run back to AZ.

The first time the car will not be under my control while I am in the U.S and I'm getting twitchy already.

My mod strategy is to do the exterior appearance mods first, then suspension & brakes, tires/wheels, and finally power.

Here is what is being installed:
-CF Venom hood, hood pins, and winshield washer squirter relocation kit
-S-H-E-L-B-Y lettering on leading edge of hood
-Cervini's "Stalker" side skirts
-GT/CS side scoops
-C&R radiator and HE
-Relocate battery to trunk
-Revan Racing Supercharger Coolant tanks, Radiator expansion tank, and Power Steering tank (all anodized black)
-Tulsa Car F/X Fender Vents
-Agent 47 Retro Race Mirrors
-Shadrach Mustang Quarter Window Scoops
-Black Billet Rear Medallion
-HID Fog Light Conversion (6000K)
-HID Headlight Conversion (6000K)
-Agent 47 Vortex Generators
-JLT Brake Cooling kit w/Black Grille Bezels
-Vintage GT500 Emblem on Deck Lid and Dash.
-LED Sequential Tail Lights
-Black Corner Lights w/Bumper & Turn Signal Stealth Bulbs
-Aluminum Race Pedals, Powdercoated Black
-Red LED Dome Light Bulb
-Clear Side Marker lenses w/Red LED Bulbs
-Daytime Running Lights
-Ducktail Spoiler 3rd Brake Light
-Ravelco security Device
-Florida legal window tint

Body & Paint Work
-Remove all stock vinyl stripes
-Paint the body of the car Flat Black (Dupont Hot Rod Flat Black) w/Gloss Black over the top Triple Stripe in Super Snake pattern (1” stripe/1”gap/14” stripe/1” gap/1” stripe) that stop at vents on hood (like the KR)
-Paint molding, front splitter, and rear diffuser
-Shave Door Handles
-Remove “S-H-E-L-B-Y” Letters from Decklid
-Remove Snakes on Fenders
-Paint Rims
-Dynamat Interior (Floorboard, Doors, Trunk, Headliner, Hoodliner)
-Cover Original 3rd Brake Light
-all chrome will be converted to black chrome
-all lenses on lights will be smoked

I didn't see any re-upholstering on the list. That is about the only thing not being touched.

Should look cool, have your guys really prep the Cervini stuff well the quality of their stuff out of the box is not that great IMO.

Are you going to paint and strip or just stripe the CF Hood and leave the CF exposed?

Strange order of your mods leaving the best part to the end but good luck with the project.

I gave them the instructions for the radiator, HE, and the fog llight conversion

Hard due date of 15 April

I have always dreamed of doing an "ultiimate" mustang and my new situation will allow me to do it with my GT500. The should of, could of, would of days are over. Time to just do it.

My order gives me plenty of time to do research on power mods and to see what works and what doesn't. No wasted money on big ticket engine mods.

Makes sense, to finish this thing your gonna need a big Kenne B but when it's done you may be pulled over by an X-Wing or a B-Wing be careful.

Vaders personal ride was a TIE Advanced X1 so I looked at this for plate ideas......

TIEX1 was taken, but TIEAX1 is available
