A Cool Opportunity Need Some Quick Input

Okay all I know we have addressed this in another thread but I wanted to start a new topic.

Today I spoke with another Dyno vendor and he is more reasonably priced and seems to have a better reputation.

This gentlmen will do $50 per car and that basically includes "pulls until the customer is happy" as the owner put it. I do however, need to gather enough cars to guarantee him at least $1000 to be there (he is travelling about 4 hours to get there).

So, now the question is, are you interested and would you "commit" to a dyno session?

The gentlemen that runs the Hermann area internet news site Neighborhood Galaxy said he would donate $150 towards getting the dyno here.

If you have never seen a car on a dyno its super cool.

I am not likely to get on it again this year but I will put in my $50 to have it there as part of the event.

Amen for Iceman.....I am in for 2 sets of pulls. We are going to have something special this year that is going to require my car to be dyno'ed 2 times. That is all I can say right now so you need to come and see what we have planned out.

Yeah, we're pulling the 5.4 and modding the engine bay with a sawzall and installing an old school 429.......

Count me in. I've never been present when my car has been put on the dyno, so this could be cool. Now, who actually runs the car while it's up there? Perhaps I better go get my pulley swap done before I get up there.....
