What did you think of them?
I've been to: 1. US 41 in Morocco: http://www.us41dragway.com/ I liked this strip a lot. We went with a Mustang club rental and the track although not new wes in very good shape. It was smooth and wide with a long shut down area and a lot of parking. Staging lanes were clean and easy to get in and out of. The track is a little out of the way but it is a fun place to go 2. Muncie Dragway in Mincie, IN: http://www.munciedrag.com/ This is what I call my home track. I was a bit ashamed of it last year as it was a real POS. There was a bump at the end of the track (but still before the finish) that would throw you one way or the other if you were the slightest bit out of the groove. I lifted many a time because of this. The property itself is not as big as some others I have been to but it is laid out nicely. This year there is new ownership and a nicely re-done web page vs the white trash version I would have never posted before. The new owners have resurfaced the track and it is smooth enough to drive with your knees at 135+ (not that I suggest this). They resurfaced the pot hole filled return road and have done some work to the gravel parking lot to limit the mess there as well. The staging laned could use some new paving too but for what they had to start with and to be where it is now I am proud to go call it my home track. They rent it out for cheap and so far have been good enough to let me run my vert with no roll bar. I suspect that may be ending when the new tires arrive. I was asked to leave IRP with out running - they seemed to think I could run faster than the 13.49 no roll bar verts are allowed. They suck but I will go back when I have a roll bar to run it - this is where the US Nationals are held. http://www.irponline.com/apcm/templa...3316&zoneid=96 |

I sent a pM to Mad Max letting him know - I know there are some upgrades and moves going on with now with the system but I don't think posts are supposed to be sucked away. I'm sure he will address it asap. The site is still new so a couple bugs but I think the move was to get on a dedicated private server so there will not be any of the tech shut down issues other places have had in the past.

I heard that the mods from TS were over here deleting posts for old times sake.

We moved over to a VPS (Virtual Private Server). Right now, I have around 2 hours of MySQL work daily between this site, the BVM site, and Store. By moving to a private server, I will not have other traffic to deal with, and we will reap the benefits of not having to endure tech issues as we grow larger. Essentially, when we reach 90% capacity, I have a standing order to increase the size by 20%. Pretty cool!

Thanks - Now back to topic -
Let's hear the thoughts on the tracks you have been on. Do any stand out as better or worse for you and why? How is the tech check? I'm always looking to know where I could run a good time and not get too much trouble about what I do or don't have on the car. |

I will be at Englishtown tomarrow with a friend . We will be track testing his GT500 equiped with a TVS with the Ford tune for a MMFF photo shoot.
MMFF will be having their GT500 shootout there at the same time. I hope to see Fred ,Nelson and the boys maybe with the twin turbo car. |

It would be really cool to get some exclusive Shelby Mafia Video to post...you know maybe accidently getting a few runs while trying to caprute a bird flying or something
![]() If you see Fred there tell him I want some wheels ASAP - I need to get to the strip with something other than my street tires! I called and bugged him again today and tried to get some details on their stuff but he was pretty tight lipped. He let it slip that the car is running good and they are close to their goal but wouldn't say what times they are running yet due to the mag. etc. He said vids and mag stuff is coming soon though. What size? I'm trying to get fred to get me 325/50/15's and am leaning towards the et street radial over the slick so I can still run true street class here.

Just got back from the MMFF shootout. It was a nice sunny day but very windy and the air was bad ( very low barometer ) but nevertheless a fun day. Fred said he doesn't have your tires yet. I know he's been real busy getting three of their cars ready for the event today. I can't say much about the results except to say that I think everyone's times were off a 10th or two and 1 or 2 mph because of the conditions. The track seemed to be in fine shape though. |

cool - I bet he rolled his eyes and had some wise ass comment about my tires HAHA - I bug him all the time about it. Poor guy probably wants me to get the tires as bad as I want them.
I bet it was a blast to be out there. Can you say any 8's? |

I also think since the event was canceled and rescheduled so many times because of rain some of the participtants didn't make it. When I get a chance I'll post a few pic's if I get permission.
