Just got home from Irwindale Speedway. New personal best. The custom tune and TB must have helped alot. Track was in crappy condition as alot of hondas were breaking down spewing their tranny fuild or oil. They should really make a "kiddie" track for the imports :lol: It was a hot day too (around 95).

Oh time was 8.73 @ 83.15 mph on an 1/8 track. Street radials and wheel hop still holding me back :( I should be in the low 8's from what I hear.

Should do better next time as I will have better spark plugs in, another tweaking of my tune, aluminum drive shaft and probably 110 race gas. Trying to get some DR's too but we shall see how much if left after paying the bills. :(

nice run - I'm still trying to figure out how to track the 1/8 mile with the others as I've been doing all 1/4 and have not been putting in the 1/8th times/speeds....I may just start a new thread for 1/8th times for people wanting or needing to use those but thanks for posting up the info!

Hey Ice...Long time no hear...What has been your best time in the 1/4 mile

Sadly I never bested my 10.991 from 2 yrs ago. I didn't get to the track a lot this year and the day i went to really try I hurt my car. I ran an 11.036 at 135+ easing off the line with a 1.73 60' and granny shifting. The next run up I went too hard off the line and snapped my axle and by the time it was repaired I had no more race week ends left so the test of the new rear has not really happened....it worked well on the drive out to LSR's Funeral and back though.
