i went out an played last nite at our local track
the track MGR got fired yesterday a couple hours before the race and the track was not prepared too well, but i made a dozen runs, the first time i have been out with the 373's and the Nitto's
my best run last nite was 11.928 @117.35, and my next best was 12.058@117.11 and my best 60' was 1.83
i had plenty of wheel spin yet just not as much

Good runs. If you are pulling the low 1.8's on 60' you are doing pretty good of the line assuming you are on drag radials/street tires???

Congrats on the 11's. It may be time that our drag time thread gets a place to reside over here....

i am running nitto's 305/35/18's i ran 17.5 lbs of air on my 12.053 run and then i lowered it down to 16.5lbs
i should have ran 11.5 or better

..good job........the Midwest is not always real friendly to drag racers with heat, humidity and elevation......here in kc, the track is always pretty junky so I am just not real excited about going out for a try....but it is real fun to listen to you other guys.......

Try 3200 rpm and fether the cluch out and the gas in at the same time and you may see a better 60'. You can't just dump the cluch on this car, you will just blow the wheels off...., even with the 28x10.5/15w MT slicks I have.

agreed with badboy. It takes practice but if you wrk at it you will get it.

I did gt my slicks to hook at 15PSI and dumping th clutch at 4500-5K rpm with a big john force burn out t hat them and the rsults were a brokn axle. I'll go back up to about 18-20PSI and work th clutch now

I SUCKED BIG TIME the air was 4400 ft and my best time was 12.20@115

my top end speeds were down 2-5 mph????







bout ran the car outa gas, i started with 3/8 tank
i barely made it back to town and to the gas station with- 0 miles to empty
just was not a great nite, and during my last run the fire dept was called to put out a fuel blaze in the infield some where



i just plain sucked

I am going to try a taller tire 305/45/18 nitto's
so i am goig to put my 305/35/18 nitto's up for sale, they have 300 miles on them and about 18 passes down the track

i'll sell them for 450 del!
