Received Care Packages

Since I will be getting alot of packages from ya'll, I figured I should start a thread to let ya know when your packages arrive.


Soooo.....I got my first package today


and it was from.....

As I opened the box, it looked to be a good one with stuff the soldiers actually need! I was so happy. Even towels, which they need but never crossed my mind! Thank you so much!

It took me a minute to figure out who sent it! The postcard said from the mustang forums......

Wife training has been conducted. Also, she gets the credit for what was in the box and I'll let her know that it was appreciated.

That didn't take long to get there.

My wife uses the Priority Mail boxes and stuffs them as full as she can get them. This is the first one sent to Afghanastan. She routinely sends them to our son in Iraq. It seems to take longer for mail coming back but the mail going over seems to get there pretty quickly.

Got 3 boxes today

All from the same 2 people. I picked up these boxes and one of the guys told me "That's a really nice car, love the color!" I told him blue is way faster, turned and walked out!

Had to put them on my bed and run, but I'm bout to take the stuff out to them at the fire now.

Oh no, they arrived in record time!!! I caught that a few boxes went out before ours. Red car co pilots know their stuff.

I think you caught the first post about Jen being over there without a px. I caught her second post so I was behind from the start of this race. I did a darn good job of catching up.

Did I mention that we will soon have some beads and bead kits on the way to Jen's sand box retreat? Soon to be known as Sandbox Beads. My glass torching friends are taking on the task of helping out Jen and her co workers right along with our SM family.

Co-Pilot has been wonderful with all the help and being a friend. She even thought of something as simple as a nice shaver. I have been so use to the cheap ones here that I forgot how nice it was to have a good one. It's the simple things I miss the most.
I can't wait to get packages from your bead friends, I'm sure the girls are gonna be happy!
I gave the girls their bracelets and they love them!!

The pt belt was a bit bright so here's another.....and no, I'm not high!
