2.9L Whipple Notes
1) Fits under the strut tower brace with the use of spacers, like the ones JLT supplies in their CAI Kits 2) Factory Fuel Rails with Crossover fits over the blower, so no need to replace the fuel line. Unless you want to upgrade to our New Fuel Rail Kit, which clears the supercharger inlet no problem! 3) The blower screams, it's much, much louder then the 3.4L Whipple, 2.3L TVS (Even when running 20lbs of Boost) it sounds very similar to the 2.8H Kenne Bell 4) The part of the inlet where the Throttle Body bolts up to is angled down a little, so it could accommodate the Whipple 123mm Air Kit. Other Brand Intakes will need just a little tweaking to work.... The Whipple 123mm Air Intake is on the car now, with much more boost.......... Fred Evolution Performance, Inc. The Stock Strut Tower Brace will NOT fit with the Whipple 123mm Air Intake Kit, even if you use two spacers, there isn't enough threads left to hold it on!
