My local MidSouth Mustang Club had a dyno day At DynoSpeed Racing here in Memphis. Great facility and a fantastic time.

I don't have a scanner handy so I'll just post my stats from the best pull, you'll have to trust me.

This was on a DynoJet:
temp 87.10 F, humidity 58%, uncorrected 1.00

Max Power = 503.58 Max Torque = 485.16

I am VERY happy with these numbers since all I have done performance wise is the FRPP CAI and tune along with FRPP 5GT mufflers. My goal was to have a true 500 hp. Guess I can focus my mods on suspension and appearance now.

very well done.......mine is just under 500 (497.95 and 487 torque) with just the JLT CAI, tune and SGT's. Got the suspension done, so it's going to be on to the pulley for me next.

Oh forgot to mention that there was a Z06 Vette there with aftermarket exhaust and tune that only hit 465 rwhp.

Yes we had an awesome day at Dynospeed! MidSouth Mustang Club and SVTOA Memphis co hosted the event and provided food. Also Modified Mustangs (another local club) showed up in the afternoon so there was no shortage of cool cars! We filled up every bit of parking they had available!

There were four GT500s there and one SGT, although Dads was the only one to dyno. He forgot to mention that he was the big dog for the day!

We have created a great club in MSMC this past year and I am kicking the idea around to have a late season weekend get together and invite clubs from all over to come down for the weekend. We can perhaps take our cars down to Beale Street for a show down there! That would kick butt!

If I ever get this together then everyone is invited!

Some pics from today. I will post more as they come in.

Check out the red GT500 vert. This car is from Nashville and I do not know who it is, but they had Dynospeed put in a roll bar. You can't take it out. It is a NHRA legal cage. There are some things l like about it though, like the fact that the rear bars go over the back seat instead of down between the seat cushions. It has a bar welded in under the car on each side like a subframe connector, and the cage goes through the floor and is welded to that bar. It also has swingouts for the doors.
