Dyno complete. Given ambient temp diff, today was 57 to 59 degree's, roughly 33 degree's cooler than last test in Sept. Only change to the car was installing the BBK 65mm TB. Pretty good numbers, but more tweeking on A/F needed....
![]() The second graph run was done after disconnecting the neg battery cable to clear all driving characterisics in the computer memory.

The HP numbers look much better now, but I thought the torque would be higher also?
I wonder why the A/F mixture bumped up so much after you cleared it? Seems your #'s would have been higher if it was between 11.5-12...but what do I know. ![]() So w/ driveshaft you should be in the 640 RWHP range. That's a good place to be. Say goodbye to your tires. ![]() .

Keenan said they probably set a wide range for the system to learn. Said to talk to you know who to narrow that range down, which should keep the a/f where it needs to be.
TQ and HP after i put that freakin shaft back in. Another test after and we'll see... Just gotta get the tune right... ![]() How do my tail lights look..... ![]() Stopped over and saw Jay after.

WRT headers, just not sure which set up to get. Still researching it, and what is compatible with the cats.

I am not 100% sure but I think these are axle back mufflers that I had. I love them because they sounded good and there was no droan (drone?) but there was pretty much no power gain either.
If that is all you have changed you have pretty much a stock exhaust system. You would gain if you went to a Catless X-pipe. If you are not running a KB with the lower pulley or a Whipple I'f get the ARH long tubes and the Magnaflow 3" cat back set up with the high flow catted X pipe. The sound is amazing, no drone (droan?), and great looks. It was my favorite set up and the one i had at the first shelbyfest that everyone liked. When we did burnouts leaving and i went EVERY head around snapped to see what it was. The car sounded nasty when you stepped into it but was not obsecne under normal driving. That being said the Exhaust does not up the HP a ton on these cars (unless you go catless then it helps some) but it does help them breath and lower boost some. |

![]() What were you expecting on the dyno and what did you get? Have gone back and tried again? Many things can change those numbers around. For me I saw almost no increase in power with my headers and 3" exhaust and the high flow cats. I had 561 rwhp with the old stage 2 (tune, intake, and 2.6 pulley on stock S/C) and then bumped to the old stage IV with headers etc. The boost dropped a few pounds and the power stayed the same. But I dynod in Jan. on the stage 2 and June or so on the stage IV so in Indy that's about a 50 degree difference in average temp. If you are on stock tires they can slip on the dyno pretty easy too lowering your number. Humidity plays a big factor (also much higher in June here than in jan.) How far up in the RPM range did you push it. If you want to 6K instead of 62-6300 that will make a differnce as well more than likely. I think your numbers should be higher but would bet there is some underlying reason why they are because enough have been done that don't come up low that while possible I would say it is unlikely that it was the package. |

Both tests, rpm's were taken to 6200. I'll keep the tires in mind on the next one. She was anchored down pretty good to prevent that, but one never knows just by looking. I can see the car and the monitor easily. Not looking for massive power, just want what is expected. If there's other issues preventing this achievement, i'll find out soon enough. I really need to learn and understand datalogging so i can personally take the data, understand it, and apply appropriate measures. There are some great tuners here, but i'm kinda locked in with Evo's tunes, since he has the software, doubtfull he'll give it up so a local guy can adj.

K,One other thing. I would be willing to bet you also have some belt slippage if you are using the VMP90 mm pulley. I have seen this on another car that has the TVS and was using the VMP pulley. Once he switched to the Metco Idler power went up about 8 rwhp. Just thought I'd mention it to you.

Interesting you say that as i've not heard of any issues before. And i do have it installed. Didn't know metco made one for that pulley, only knew of the upper one with the bracket when you downsize the SC pulley. Who carries them? We go them in the store here?

I have the 2.65 upper with the metco idler it works great . That's what the other car switched to as well and has no problems now.
