Dan you forgot to say for a given SC. In this case it is all TVS blowers only. If comparing efficency one blower to another blower type or manufacture the boost level would have to remain the constant.

yes, TVS only...

...actually, to be correct, I should have used pulley circumfrence (not diameter) because circumference linearly relates to belt speed and, therefore, rotor angular velocity ...so it should really be:

How about a contest for the most efficient TVS GT500 build:

((Dyno-jet SAE rwHP X SC pulley circumfrence) / crank pulley circumfrence) = index#

-- the larger the index the more efficient

l'll edit the other post.

HYDRO who is close to the 750rwhp mark we need to get it on my dynojet so we can post his numbers for comparisons his last pulls after some added work yielded big numbers but was on a mustang dyno so I want to get in back on the dynojet to be valid.
SVTbird also broke the 700hp mark.
We will have them all on my dyno again soon I will bring printer from my house and print them out.
Since I don't use the dyno much anymore expect for my own car(and some friends) I don't have a printer hooked up to the dyno anymore.
these (yours, hydro, svtbird) are the ones i/we/others want to see. with all the numbers being thrown out by the 2.9L whipple guys we need to get these out. you can even post up other tvs combos you ran in the past. more is better. thanks.

The 2.9 guys maybe throwing out a bunch of numbers but were not as organized as the Tvs guys!

I am still waiting for the new Tvs stuff to be available, "after" I see the results the Tvs may be back on my coupe. I spent enough money being one of the first to do the 2.9, I will let Hydro do the Tvs, he has LOTS of money!!!!!

steve, early adopters get the more satisfaction. its just a matter of time for the 2.9L guys. at least you have the vert to play with when the coupe is down.

hi dave, i missed this the first time through. your sheet is a little harder for me to pull the numbers from (the picture is at a angle and you used mph). do you have one that you can post up at a more straight on shot using rpm? thanks, brad

I relocated this thread to the "Dyno" section.

This particular thread is for the 2.3 TVS Dyno results.

I think it would be better if you start another seperate thread here in the Dyno section for the 5.0 3v's with a TECHCO 3.0 that way it would keep things organized and be easier for others to find this specific information without having to scroll through all the TVS post's.

No ,one piece driveshaft. 3.5 dynotech
93 yes.

Just a note I know many believe a one piece will yield big hp gains.
I did back to back it ver the stock 2 piece driveshaft it was zero gain seen.
I told this to another member(will keep his name out of it) he did not believe me so we tried it on his car zero gain seen on his . I dynoed 5 gt500's and one salleen extreme. I did not see any rwhp gains when switched to the one piece( my testing was done back to back same day same dyno).
I dynoed hundreds and hundreds of cars over the years never seen more then 2-3 rwhp gain with any driveshaft.
Now that being said I have seen driveshafts help sixty foot times and ET's.
Carbon fiber being the best.

thats interesting to see. there was another member on the other site who did the same. before/after same day same dyno with no other mods and he gained from what i remember 10-15 rwhp. or claimed to gain. i cant remember his setup. i am going to find that thread and try to see if what i remember was correct. thanks for sharing.
