Smoked Tail Lights

I added smoked tail lights to my car and I'm not sure if I like them or not.
They illuminate fine so I'm not worried about that. I'm looking for some constructive criticism on the looks.

I added some before and after photos, What do you guys think?

I want to get some smoked ones for my car but I don't want them as dark as yours. I was hoping that someone made them a bit lighter. I'd hate to be pulled over for something like that. I would also like to see if there is any that are just smoked for the headlights, parking lights and fogs.

I have a friend who is a cop and he said that in his opinion they are legal. He said that the laws in Indiana are undefined and its pretty much up to the local cops as to weather they want to hassle you or not.

Interesting look . Not my cup of tea but it's your car ,if you like it that's all that matters. I perfer the original look myself, more balanced looking.

If you wanted to break-up the rear end a little, you could get the satin tail light frames, but you don't seem to have any other metal stuff except for the brake ducts & cobras. The frames may be too much.

I never really liked the smoked lenses look. In my opinion it gave the car a ghettoish look. (Can I say that?) But to each his own.

does good hiding the lights and blends into the paint. stock looks "aggresive" for lack of a better term. my are smoked, just not as dark.

I really like them!

Is it a full light assembly of just lenses or covers?

Did you do the front (orange) signal marker lights too?

Pls. post a link to where you got the lights.

I like the smoked tail lights look, but I think yours are a little too dark for my taste.

I like them! I want somthing similar for mine. I haven't decided whether to go with a cover or tint overlay or just ponying up the dough for the LED tailights with blacked out housing. I'm going for the Darth Shelby stealth look, no color other than the cobra's and medallion. I replaced my turn signal housings with blacked out housings and silver coated orange bulbs so they still light up orange. I have tint clings for the headlights and foglights but don't have them on right now. I've seen some that turned out nice with spray tint but I don't think I have the patience for all the sanding and multiple coats involved.

I like it, but it would have to illuminate the brake lights properly before I'd do it.

I have considered these since they avoid the tailight dimming problem

But I would like to see a pic of them actually installed and they also look like my sequentials won't work with so that is a definite negative.
