After some discussions with Chef last night, the initial date proposed for Chefapalooza is the Labor Day weekend, 3-5 September 2010 (Friday - Sunday).

How does this weekend work for everyone

We expect chefapalooza to be off the charts.... We hope and anticipate a large turnout by not just stangmafia members but other mustang enthusiasts as well for stangmafia recruitment ... Should be a blast

Mr. White, use Friday to travel, Monday is a holiday, should be easy enough. School would have just started, so not too much time missed. Bring them with.

tentatively, that is our planned weekend to take Kherington north for her first visit to the NH lakehouse (since we'll probably think she's too little to travel with for the 4th of July.....:-)

I have no plans to attend other events this year due to personal commitments this Spring and Summer. My children do not share our passion for fast cars. It looks like I have a friend who will extend their assistance from the event mentioned in my post above, so I can travel directly from there to Florida. Maybe a stop in NOLA on the way back is in order as well

I do understand about the kids.. I'm looking at Condo's closer to NOLA (within 10 miles of the city) You know you're welcome to visit anytime. BTW, I have a great place to visit, kind of like a Cheers, New Orleans / Irish / Saffer style.

StangMafia.com is going to the next level in 2010. I am very limited in what I can say at this point, but we are looking at joining up with a national event in August 2010. It does not conflict with your dates although it would put the two events close together. I am traveling next week to meet with the organizers of that event and will disclose more data as it comes available.

As for Chefapalooza specifically, my only problem will be with the fact school is in session. Arrangements can be made, however.
