Actually, the DRI WASH 'n GUARD Leather and Vinyl treatment is the best product to remove old wax from plastic trim. Takes a bit of elbow grease, but it does take it off.

Well, I guess it depends on what kinds of car you're detailing - certainly enough for a Smart Four2 (or is it 4Two?).

Sorry for my bad humor - but no - the sample pack won't do an entire car. That way, once you're hooked on it, you have to go back to the BVM store for more! ;)

Obviously the best offense is not to use products that leave residue, but I have had my share of cleanup form last years products.

I just got my kit today and will be working on the waxed plastic tomorrow.

I wasn't worried about the cost, I was just impressed because standard shipping is usually via USPS, not Fed-Ex.

I used the DRI WASH 'n GUARD Leather and Vinyl treatment & a small bristle brush & scrubbed the fender flares that had wax on them. So far everything looks good, wax removed & the flares look great. I'm going to give it a few days until I declare victory though.

Yeah. When I was done cleaning my car, I decided to work on the wax issue on the Tahoe. G has the same problem on his Lightning.
