There are bubbles in the tape, what a crummy job.

If you're going a short distance to a cruise, the blue tape works well, provided you don't mind looking like an idiot when you pull in with blue tape on your car.

Bugs are another reason to have an invisible bra (clear film). You still have to clean them off, but they can't hurt your paint.

If you use a bug cleaner, you'll probably need to re-wax, as most of them will strip your wax along with the bugs.

It will be interesting to see how the clear bra on mine holds up in the desert heat. Shouldn't be any issues, as I apply Dri Wash regularly, and never leave it outside unless we are cruising. As for the topica at hand, the bugs come right off, and no issues with paint as you pointed out.

The trip to Vegas produced some small but noticeable chips. I'm thinking of getting the clear bra put on but but I never liked the line. The alternative is to get a regular bra and just put it on when we're driving long distances. Research to be done when we get back to Colorado.

With a good brand (Venture Shield) and a good installer, you won't see the line. I defy you to find the line on my car, and it's black. Heck, I know where it is, and I have a hard time seeing it.

That's the problem. There is some really good material, but I have no idea who in the Boulder area is a class A installer. I was thinking of getting the windows tinted at the same time.
