+1 on the clear bra. I also carry a spray bottle filled with distilled water. Spay it on the bugs, wait about 30 seconds and they come right off. Follow up with a little detailer and your good to go.

I just use Turtle wax bug and tar, awesome stuff, just spray it on, let it sit for a minute or two and hose it off, if any remains just use your favorite wash mit and soap/water and the rest comes off with no problem. Doesn't hurt wax at all.

I use a product called Bug Squash, mfg and sold by Poor Boy's World. Sold in gallon jug. Mix with water. Spray on bugs,let set for 30 seconds or so, rinse with garden hose and it removes most of the bugs without scrubing. I highly recommend it. You can also use it car shows, spray on and wipe off with towel.
