Default MrFarmdog's Detailing tip #2 - Lint Roller

My first one was the Absorber so I thought I would add a few more as I think of them...

Everyone should have one of those lint rollers in your car. I use mine on the vert top to remove fibers and other stuff. You can also use it on the carpet to pick up most anything if you don't have a vacuum handy, like at a car show, etc. If you peel off one sheet you can use it by hand to get in little nooks and cranies under the seat and between the seat and the rocker panels. It can also be used on the seats to pick up little stuff.

I have one of these in my car. Works great at the car shows like you said. It's also good for using it in the trunk area. You know how lint likes to adhere to the trunk mat.

That's the first thing I added to my clean-up kit when I bought the ragtop Shelby. I keep a couple on hand at all times now.

Cali duster for the black paint (frequent dustings necessary) and lint roller (for the black cloth vert top). Two essential cleaning tools. Bottle of Ice detailer and lots of microfiber towels finish it out.

Dri Wash n Guard is ESSENTIAL for a black car. The paint on mine looks a mile deep.

Great idea!

Agree. Works great to get off that minor dirt before a show.

It's a waterless cleaning system that we sell in the BVM store. It works really well. Max did a video on how to apply it in the Dri Wash thread.

+(whatever number it is)

The lint roller does a super job on those cloth tops. I usually use the air hose first, then the roller for the stubborn stuff.

Mrs. Carnut has been looking for it for a couple months now.

I have a vacuum at every show! But it does work wonders in the trunk where the vacuum won't pick up. Of course it took him a year to give me this tip, and then another 6 months to steal it from the wifes dresser...
