FUn w/a Camaro
Well, today was truly an aweseom day to drive...and drive i did, after of course getting front end re-aligned. Shelby mo better now...
 So i had to take my service advisor for a ride to check it out, and a ride he got...some 120 on a nice back country road with some wide twisties...  (TG knows the one) Needless to say, he'll be changin pants... So on the way home, i hit the HOV (two lane for 2 pass commuter traffic), but its open to all for certain times. So i go's and get in there and do a little dancin you might say. Afternoon traffic already hittin it, so i couldnt play to much. Then off in the distance, there it was...a brand new orange Camaro, still with new tags. I had to get some. Managed to get up along side him, two Navy pilots in the car (junior officers), so MC had to show them who's boss. I was in 4th cruzin about 60, and he hit it (slow i might add), and lil ole me, just punched it. We played for about an 1/8 of a mile before hittin more traffic. I could tell he was apprehensive, so let him stay with me.... His lane had traffic, mine didn't. So we thumbs up'd each other, and i nailed it....ba-bye chevy..... But got a damn good look at the car, hate the back. God aweful. Those tires are tall as hell too. But he was no match for the king... Now i'll chill and go to TG's later and harrass him a bit....

Perfect! I seen my first over the weekend, and Chevy fan or not, butt ugly. However, I also think the new 2010 Stang is ugly compared to ours. All in all, both 2010's are softer cars, less muscle look, and hate to say it, have the Jap car look. I am sure there is a market, but glad we got ours when we did.
Glad you tore up your first, sure not the last LOL

true..i'm not in favor of our 2010 either. Softer yes, as you said. Would have liked to pull over, chat and get a good closeup, but it wasnt in the cards...but we'll meet again im sure

I don't like the looks of the new Camaro either, front or back for that matter. The new Mustangs look much better in my opinion especially up front. I am still not liking the rear though. It doesn't look as bad when the Mustang is in anything but the grabber blue. We all know that the stock Shelby can toast a Slomaro so there really isn't much competition out there for the Shelby. Put the Slomaro up against a Mustang GT and there would be more equal competition. But in looks, give me the Mustang anyday.

Oh....BTW...I had a similiar run-in with a Challenger about 1 week ago.
He was cruising ahead, my son and I pulled up behind him real quick and slowly careened along both sides.....gagging the gas a few times to wake the Corsas Needless to say he wouldn't jump on it. He just waved his white flag and we blew by him. IS

Sounds like you had too much fun today.
 We stopped by RK Chevrolet and looked at one they had in their show room last week. TG, nor myself liked it. Our son was drooling. I had to explain the same thing to him that I had to explain to TG when we met. NO CHEVY IN MY DRIVEWAY!!!
