LSR Decals

I have been working with MrFarmDog, ShelbyFestGuy and MadMax in creating and selling a decal to help us all remember LSR (LaMont Morris). Thanks to Max for his dedication to help spread the word and providing a place to purchase the decals. Thanks to ShelbyFestGuy for introducing me to MrFarmDog. Thanks to MrFarmDog for donating his time and material to produce these decals.

There will be two designs offered. You can pick whichever design you like. I have uploaded them for you viewing.

The first design (LSR):

Created by VaporDude. The black background was used to help visualize the decal. The red lettering and white stripes represent LSR's car. Here is the link for LSR:

The second design (LSR1):

Created by MrFarmDog. The red background and white stripes represent LSR's car and the black lettering represents his screen name. Here is the link for LSR1:

These decals can placed on the window of your car. My recommendation would be the rear window, driver side, lower corner. But you can decide where to place it. The size of the decal will be approximately 3 inches high by approximately 6 inches wide.

Each decal is priced at $25 shipped. All money from the sales of these decals will be sent to the family fund for their use. That is 100 percent going to the family. These decals can be purchased in the BVM store using your credit card.

Outstanding idea and effort, thank you all who participated. I will order two when they are available.

Any thougt on producing a reflective decal? I would like to mount them in the upper corners of the driver's side front and rear glass, and I would like them to light up in the lights of passing vehicles in the evening hours. Just a thought...

We never thought about that but I will check with MrFarmDog on it. You can go to the BVM store now to order if you like but if you want the relective, wait until you hear something. Thanks for the idea.

..don't know if this is the right place at all.....but the most immediate need right now is just getting together a deposit for the funeral

I am trying to deal with them long distance for credit card acceptance, but it is not going quite as smoothly as I had hoped, but I will keep on it.

I cannot cover the whole deposit, but anyone who can chip in, the funeral home # (serenity) is 618/233-6000

edit, got them to accept payment, but had to fax a copy of card and license. Unfortunately, there is still an outstanding balance due on the deposit. Please contact them if you have the ability, its not too huge an amount, but I am not comfortable posting family business like this (exact amounts, etc.)

I have checked and he does not have reflective material. Sorry buddy.....

Thanks, Greg, but I already ordered two. It's okay though, I will order again if the reflective become available. Let me know?

Thanks for posting, John. I just spoke with Serenity, and I agree that it is a difficult process they require. I am hoping to find a shortcut, will keep y'all advised. Sadly, we're going into the weekend, so, I don't expect much of an answer until Monday.

thanks for your efforts. The family is apparently in a real difficult spot right now. Apparently LaMonte just never thought that his life could end so young. We just need to be thankful for each day. And for good guys like you my friend.

I am also trying to work with them to get these on their site as well. So far, I have not heard anything from them.

just one way...I am sending money for the account for the family and am looking into the funeral costs to see about helping there.

I don't know that the site is planning any other type of contribution as a group but we want to spread the word as we're not looking for credit for the help just the end result is what matters. If there was an idea for a site effort I think we'd all be for it but from the sounds of it the sooner the better for any financial assistance.
