Someone asked me to make a stripe kit for one of these. I thought I would show of my progress and get some input as to what else I should do. Post up your opinions please. I think it needs a decal to represent the hood vents and I plan on putting that together today. I will use flat black for the base and then some gloss black to represent the vents. Hard to explain but I think it will turn out.

I love it!!! Excellent stripe resizing.

It so needs some snake emblems. If you can't find the correct size, maybe purchase the key chain, shave off the loop, and attach that bad boy.

Unfortunately this car is a loaner from a friend of mine and I can not remove badging or do anything else to it. He may not want to keep the stripes on it. He just loaned me the car so I could make the stripe kit. I will mail the stripe kit to someone else (the person that asked me for it) and they will put on a car for a Christmas present (I think that was the plan). They wanted either silver or tungsten stripes and I have both of those in metallic!

Update pic with the vents on. I used flat black for the base and overlayed the louvers in gloss black. I think it looks cool!



Hard to tell the difference in the blacks in the image below but you can see it good in person.

What happend at Terlingua? You aren't one of the "unfortunate few" are you?

No, I did not flip my car... I just have a lot of rock damage on the front from running around 150 -155 mph for 380 miles!

That's what I do! Most people would not notice but I on every piece I had to recreate from scratch. All pieces, where appropriate were photographed and recreated from scratch to get the right dimensions. The SHELBY on the back was hours in itself. The vents were a couple of hours easily. Thats the way it goes.... I enjoy it though!

I added a Shelby windshield banner like I have on my car today. Here is a pic of my car and a couple of the PW car. The dimensions of the windshield are kind of goofy so it looks a little big but I think it is cool for the car. At this point I think it looks much more like a GT500 instead of a GT.

It would be fun to have the key chains to put snakes on it though Who ever you borrowed this from for creating it is getting a nice deal too. It makes me want to go buy one so you can send me the package...I wonder if I could find a black one???

Black is not available. People that want black are having them painted. That is what I plan to do when I buy mine.

ON second thought I decided to shrink the banner so it is more inline with the dimensions on my car. Looks much better IMO

Interested in making me a SHELBY JR. sticker for the right back corner of my Mini Cooper window? See my avatar, the chrome letters I have now are starting to show their age. I explained to TG that I would order the SHELBY emblem and see if I could do without the JR. I really like the JR part though.
