How many people got screwed on this because there is no arguing about one these tickets, no cop in court, just pay the fine.

Well I sort of thought that was how it went even when you did go to court. I've witnessed a state trooper lie his little badge right out of my respect zone. He knew that I knew he was lying too. I wasn't the one being charged, but he kept eye balling me because he feared my actions I'm sure. I lost a lot of respect for law enforcement because of this one trooper.

They will definitely lie, but the liars, I believe, are the minority. If it's you against a cop in court, with no other witnesses, your toast 10 out of 10 times. He's considered a Professional witness and the judge and jury almost always believe his testimony...

The MN State Supreme Court found them illegal and forced the cities that used the cameras to refund all of the fines that were paid.

You can't have due process with just a camera and an automatic fine.

They took ours down, but are threatening to put them back up.

I don't get how they can just ticket the 'owner' of the vehicle?

That would be a good way to get back someone you don't like. Talk them into borrowing their car, go out and run 20 red lights. They wouldn't know a thing till they got the bills weeks later.

They are popping up all over the St. Louis area. They mainly put them in high congested intersections.

the mrs got caught taking a right on red. it was allowed she said, which is true, but you have to come to a stop first before continuing on. The TX system not only shows you a photo, it gives you a website to logon and you can watch a video of the incident. It was kinda funny listening to her complain that she did nothing wrong and then watch the video......

By the way, they have coatings for your license plate so cameras can't get a clear pic.

The city officials and the outside contractors that knowingly did this should be prosecuted and do jail time for this. I am sure they won't but it would be justice...

they have them in different spots throughout Fla. I will tell you I am not a fan of those, but I will be honest if it will deter a red light runner...I am for it...Too many accidents happen on state road 60 because of a--holes blowing through red lights...I always am amused when a cop who happened to be racial profiling my car follows me for miles then I am at a light and some goomba runs a red light and the cop goes after him/her and pulls them over...that to me is justice...

I beat a cop in court once, after a night in jail. There was ...ahem...evidence in my favor. Not speeding.
