Just east of me there are still a lot of undeveloped land with open fields and wooded areas. I have to drive by them on the way to where my kids go to school.

The last few weeks I've noticed that a large eagle perches himself at the top of a dead tree on one side of the road and that a large red hawk perches himself at the top of a different tree on the other side of the road.

Going to pick up my son from school I noticed both birds were on their tree tops. On the way home both were gone.

About 1/8 mile later I see a squirrel on the side of the road... until Mr. Hawk swoops down and WHAM! snatches him up and flys away.

I was trying to get my sons attention to see this when all of a sudden I notice that another squirrel was running across the road directly in front of me!

"Oh crap!" I thought... until out of nowhere Mr. Eagle swoops down from the opposite direction and grabs squirrel #2 about 10 feet in front of me and flys away!

I love nature!

I was on my way to the pool today when.........well, that's it.......I LOVE nature too!

I see dead squirrels all the time on my way to work. Most of the time, there is a buzzard on top of it chomping away until a car goes by and the buzzard flies off until the car goes by. Sometimes I even get a squirrel with the car but I try to avoid them. It works sometimes and sometimes not.

I don't think it would be the user name, I think it would be the character portrayed.

Seems like some of Carnut's family was scoping out the pecan trees in our yard and were discovered mid nut job by one of my puppies. Seems to be that my puppy thinks squirrels are less filling and taste great.
