Well whatever you do, don't go with custom after market rims!!!! I am learning a valuable lesson. I bought mine used, one year old. Had after market rims (see photos posted above in other post) and the dealer put new tires on before I bought. Since day one I have had bad vibration issues. Went back and forth re-balancing, then with Ford, and finally after a road force, found 3 out of 4 tires bad? OR so I was told. So I made the selling dealer put new tires on, different brand and all. Same issue, same vibration, same speeds??? So I argued with Ford, who put a factory set of rims on, and let me take it for a short drive. Seemed better, so I thought, well maybe it is the tires!!! Well after driving around a few more weeks, just could not take it, same issues at speeds between 55 and 75. SO, I took it to a tire store, had them remove ALL the weights, and made them re-balance in front of me. Drove it home, SAME ISSUES??? SO I wrote a nasty email to my Ford dealer manager (nice guy by the way) voicing my frustration in how this could be. Ford trucks can't use after market rims? NO WAY, tons of them on the road. So I told them I was willing to play the game. If they would install factory tires and rims, and let me drive it a few days, if it fixed the problem, I would buy them!!! Who knew the list price is going to be about $2600. So today they installed the new rims/tires. Seems much better, but going to drive it some before I fall on my sword.

HOWEVER, in doing MORE research, and calling American Eagle (The rims are Eagle Alloy) I ran the issues by the guy and first thing he says, do you have hub rings on? I said WHAT? He states he sells hundreds of those rims, and many on Ford, but that Fords are sort of picky. And when guys complain about high speed vibration is it usually due to the fact that the hubs and wheel holes differ, and if so, the lugs will not properly HUG the rim to the truck, causing a egg like shape when hitting higher speeds??? Hum, made perfect sense... sort of. So I asked if he could get me some for my set up, he said sure have them here tomorrow $25!!!!

So moral of the story, if this fixes the problem, after months of issues, and dozens of people looking and working on it, why it this not well known? BUT, if indeed this fixes it, I will be happy as hell, and more so that I saved $2600. If not, well then I buy the OEM stuff and make sure no one I know buys after market rims! FYI

OK, here are a few photos. I just took the photos in a dark garage, so they aren't the best.

I'm very impressed with this truck. The automatic running boards are almost a must with the 20" wheels.

I also included a photo of my steel Shelby Logo that is 5' tall. I need to finish this and hang it this Spring.

Question re the Shelby Logo, Did you make cut that yourself? What equipment did you use? The reason I'm asking, my family have a SamsonCam (Plasma Cutter) and I've been trying to get them to cut something like you have, for me. They're being seriously shitty about it, as they'll have to ship it to me. I'm looking at a possible keyring holder or a coat holder, like this one..

Very nice HSURB. My dad ordered one 3 weeks ago. It was bucked Tuesday. It's a extended cab XLT 4X4 in Red. I will get pic's when he gets it. He's buying mods now. tires and rims and blow in line a bed and some sort of bed cover.
