I'm a sucker for comedies...the sillier the better. Feel free to list a favorite line from each one...

1. Caddyshack - "Hey, you scratched my anchor"
2. Happy Gilmore - "During high school, I played junior hockey and still hold two league records: most time spent in the penalty box; and I was the only guy to ever take off his skate and try to stab somebody."

Only other one I can think of is 'The Game' w/ Michael Douglas (I believe?), just like all the little changes and catches. The whole movie keeps you guessing what is going to happen next.

The Godfather Trilogy - all three of them. Not the hokey editing mishmash where they tried to put them in chronological sequence though, but each movie in order. Excellent filmmaking and superb acting.

If you're going to cite Blazing Saddles then you shall also mention Young Frankenstein at the same time. Pretty much anything by Brooks will have you rolling on the floor.

There are some that I never miss if they come on TCM or AMC (I like TCM better because there are no commercials). No particular order:

Citizen Kane. Best film ever made. Hands down. Welles could never live up to it.

Casablanca. OK, it might be a chic flick but Bogie was in it.

China Town.

Bullitt - yep, it's a good story with a the best car chase scene ever.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I hitchhike but no space alien ship ever has stopped to pick me up. I hop in in a New York minute.

Blues Brothers. OK, the car stuff is good, but the story woven in with the some of the best musicians ever collected in one place. I watch it for the sound track now. And Henry Gibson in a Nazi uniform.

Caddyshack. Hunting gophers is fun. We used to do it. Really. On the farm they were vermin to be shot.

The Caine Mutiny. Makes you think at the end.

The Wizard of Oz. Judy Garland sure could sing.

Judgement at Nuremburg. Makes you think the whole time. Judy Garland sure could act.

Birdman of Alcatraz. Burt Lancaster (also in Nuremberg).

In Harms Way. Otto Preminger directed John Wayne. I have this on DVD.
