For the first time in a long time, I had a day with no commitments or anything that had to be done. The wife and I took a drive cross country. We're basically in frozen tundra and just wanted to get out for a drive and take some pictures.

It was 4° and we were in truly desolate areas. About hit two deer and had a great time. Had no idea after being married for 17 years she was petrified of driving in snow.

Here are a few of what we captured.

No, it was too cold for that. I did try a few of my old moves from college though.

The day was a blast. All in all, we probably covered 60 miles.

Of all of the snow angels I'm familiar with, those are the prettiest I've seen. Oh to be their bun warmer.
