Spent the day with a NEW F150 4x4 Today
My dealer lent me a new F150 today whist my car was in for some "Mods".
I got to say Ford has hit a home run here. The new F150 is as quiet as a Benz inside, it is extraordinary! The transmission is seamless and completely silent during normal driving and it is hard to believe that this truck rides on Leaf Springs, it is so smooth on the Highway. I drove it downtown, on the highway, and in a small town and it performed admirably, it is very nimble for a 4x4 Crew Cab Boat. I often forgot I was in 20 foot long pick-up. This F150 was not the blinged out PLATINUM version but a more pedestrian one with a fabric interior but the quality is very high and the seats very comfortable and the quality of the dash, controls and sync equipped stereo are all top drawer! This is a fine truck! I was also passed on the highway today by a spectacular BENTLEY COUPE.

My same truck but I have an 07. I love the truck, rides nice, only complaint I really have is the dang doors are thumping over larger bumps... took to dealer who adjusted them, added a new door seal to driver side, seems to have helped some. Other than that, love it and the 2009 is much nicer I hear!
