2008 GT500 KR

Been thinking on and off should I sell or not sell my KR.

Well this past week the doc gave me my answer with a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder along with other muscle tears. Could not drive it if I tried.

Brand new no miles:

MSRP KR= 45,625.00 car & 35665.00 KR Package
Total MSRP 81,290.00

Invoice KR= 41,642.56 car & 31,302.00 KR Package
Total Invoice 72,944.56

Asking 76,900.00 Open to serious offers of any kind.
Traded for a car that's worth 100k so really getting killed here. Guess thats life.

Trailered home and driven in and out of garage.







I have a ton of paperwork that will go with car inc both ford and shelby auto invoices, all dealer prep info, long list of parts to build car etc.

Medical bills are piling up so....

Not to mention the machine shop screwed my 427 crankshaft and now its adding an additional 5k to the SideOiler build.
It will now be 482 CUBES tho. LOL

TKS. I have SCHIT in my blood so not sure how that would mix with O positive? LOL

Some how some way I need to finish the resto on My SideOiler 66 project, doc gave me an injection in the shoulder yesterday and said it could bide me a bit of time, physical therapy starts next week, trying that for a spell before possible surgery that may or may not work.

Would at least like to get out of this car what I had into the one I traded & 1.00 per hour not including overhead, lights phone, heat etc

May just have to park it for another 20yrs...

TO me the 08-09 KR's are the best looking mustangs ever built. Saw a 2010 at the car show here this past weekend and nice but not 08-09 KR nice.

With the economy totally tanking and all sales way off it will be a lucky sell in this market.

Would be nice to keep but sitting in the garage not being used is no good either.

By the looks of things the economy will be on the downwards slide for some time, the Boss 302 I traded would be a much better deal right now. I will have to stick with my new Motto: "If you want to stay broke you need to buy high and sell low" Seems I am very good at that as of late... LOL

If the KR's continue on the downwards spiral I will only go so low and then just put it away for years to come. At a big cost of course but am only willing to take so big a hit.

I can just start it up once per month just to listen to the sweet exhaust sound.

That is a tough surgery to recover from, I had mine done two years ago, once you get to the point the cortazone shot doesn't help it's time to get it fixed, you can count on a year before its feels normal again.....good luck

Love the car and it's is a great opportunity @ your price.

Rotator cuff tear, no big deal, depending which of your SITS muscles is torn.

Old people , and by that I mean 70 plus, sometimes do not have surgery, do to the possibility of complications with anesthesia. Mobility is mostly restored, you will regain mobility, whether it is with PT or surgery, either way rehab is required, as long as your issue is not money, keep the car in your collection, and enjoy it. You only live once.

Dont remember the name of other muscle....
So far the physical therapy is not doing to much if anything.


Car price now for short time of -500.00 back of Invoice!~

If you are in a state Like AZ that does not tax private party the tax is already paid. Which means you really will not find a non driven car cheaper.

Because of shoulder issues I need to hire someone to help me finish my 66 F100 with the 482" Side OIler. Right now thats more important to me than the KR.
