That's for sure.

On the GT500 the rotors may be lighter but I doubt the calipers are and that's not necessarly a better thing for stopping because you need some mass in the rotors .Lighter unsprung weight is better however for handling especially over bumps.
On a side note ....In side by side tests the KR with the OEM Brembos stopped in a shorter distance than the Supersnake did with the 6 piston SAI( Baier) set up. ( probably due to the better 18" wheels & tires on the KR)

Wont get into vendor bashing - but theres a reason that the OEM Brembos performed better than the 6 piston Baer's did Also - Stillen does sell Brembo. Stillen was the first company selling Brembo's in the US back in the early 1990's.

BTW - Brembo and AP Racing are owned by the same parent company. Brembo is much more of a marketing company - AP Racing is a true racing company. AP Racing has over 600 Formula-1 wins. Brembo cant say that. AP Racing is by far the braking system of choice in just about every professional race environment other than drag racing or dirt track. The braking system chosen by the elite in high performance sports cars such as Koenigsegg, Nobel and Aston Martin is none other than AP Racing. AP Racing has been building hihg performance braking and clutch systems for well over 30 years.

Any word on the other post I made about if they will fit the 20" MRR rims? I know the Brembo GT500 calipers will not fit.

As far as fitment on your wheels goes, thats something you will have to check. I included a link to the fitment profile in the original post.

Great job taking these - they really are a nice set.

I wasn't planning on getting brakes until after the new year (and the bonus came in), but these were a great deal. After further discussions, the real ones I want are the even more expensive 6 piston versions, so I'm going to keep saving my pennies and get the ones I really wanted in the first place.

Oh ok sounds like a good plan. You need to buy what you really want anyways or you wont be happy.

I like these alot but wasnt planning on getting brakes until spring or so but this is a good deal. The black ones would go well on my GT but the yellow lettering is not the best color for my car.

FYI, the number of pistons doesn't necessarily mean that it is better or stops faster. I'm no engineer, but I believe it comes down more to the actual surface area of the pistons, that can vary in size by manufaturer and model.
