i did however notice the uneven hood alignment to the fenders. i had it also, but resolved it using longer bolts and shims (washers) for the latch rod. just a thought.

However, there is no racing history with this color combo like there is with the GT40. It's just not the same.

BUT, how can anyone argue with the outcome. She's a beaut Clark!

Yeah I know all about the History wth the late 60's GT40's..... I just love the color scheme on those cars and wanted to pay tribute on my car. You would be surprised what racing teams are running this theme as of late!

Thanks man, I had it perfect before the paint work, I need to spend some time on it again!

Wyer's Porsches that he managed after the GT40's looked pretty good also! Watch the movie "Le Mans" starring Steve McQueen.

Thank you all for the kind comments... I designed the way the car looks and made a few changes to the Gulf theme, as the stripes are Super snake style. I had a good bunch of guys do the paint work and it turned out as I envisioned...........The logos are thin vinyl that was carefully cleared over and measured many many times.. The FORD GT500 on the side is copied off of the Ford GT , we also painted the center defuser black to change it up a little
