I was talking with a friend at work when my cell phone rings. It was about 3 PM so I thought it was my wife. It wasn't. Caller ID says that it's Bill & Donia.

There planned route was up the VA/MD/DE eastern shore to Wilmington. This is the shortest & most scenic route for them & being that it's Friday, should've been the fastest.

Safe to say that they're going to be a little late this evening. When they called me, they were on US Rt. 50 (west bound) & not sure where they were. They're reading street names that don't sound familiar to me, so my friend pulls up a map on line & I can't find anything in Delaware that matches the roads names they're reading to me. This is because they are calling me from Washington, DC. Bill got in the driving zone, Co-Pilot was beading away & they ended up in the northern part of DC at the start of rush hour. ~20 minutes later (I'm still on the phone with them), they finally get to I95 north. They were in traffic & at one point it sounded like DC's finest was arresting someone in the middle of the road they were on. I could hear the whine of the SC as Donia & I were talking, hopefully the cop didn't.

They may be in the area by 6 or so tonight. They may need a couple of sweet teas upon arrival & keep the pitcher full.

Had a great night with the bad family and TG and Co-pilot. What an awsome sight to see the bad mobile and TG's shelby coming down the street. Of course BB was leading the way - otherwise they may have gotten lost.
A word of warning to all parents Do not feed your kids Cake and Ice cream followed by s'mores. The sugar rush that affects children is a scarey thing to watch. What great people. By the end of the evening TG was exhibiting post-whore withdrawl symptoms as he spotted my lap-top in the corner. I am looking forward to some awsome fun at Evo today.

OMG Bill is gonna get you for that comment. He'll blame getting lost on copilot...or maybe say that after 20 donuts you do get disoriented.

hey ss...when you make the pancakes this morning for the bad kids, here is how you do it:
1) Make pancakes, adding honey to the recipe
2) Put cakes on plate, and sprinkle with white confectioner's sugar
3) Pour syrup on the pancakes
4) Sprinkle a little brown sugar on the syrup
5) Wait 60 seconds for syrup to soak into pancakes
6) Add more confectioner's sugar
7) Pour syrup on pancakes
8) Wait 15 seconds
9) Open a new bottle of syrup
10) Add more syrup
11) Top with confectioner's sugar
12) Serve
13) For dessert, serve pralines and cream ice cream scooped onto hot pancakes (see above for how to prepare the pancakes)

Pepsi goes well with this meal
