Blind guy wins and drives 2010 MGT ...really!
Ok, this is one of those heart-warming stories.
You might recall a couple month ago Ford branded a promo -- the10Unleashed -- for the new 2010 Mustang GT and ran a contest: 250 word essay on why you'd enjoy the new MGT. Simple enough. A guy from Athens Georgia, who lost his eye sight 20 years ago in a farming accident, enters the contest for yuks ...and wins! Ford calls him up to tell him -- he can't believe it ...thought it was a joke. Nope! Ford flys him out to the Arizona proving grounds so he can unleash his spirit and the MGT in a safe place! Yeah, it's a great promo, but all I can say is WAY TO GO FORD!!! Here's the media release today. If you click thru to the2010mustang website in that link there's a couple of cool videos of him and and his 'unleashed' day in Arizona doing burnouts, driving at 90, and cutting donuts! ...very cool indeed.

The Ford lawyers were probably going nuts thinking about the liability issues if that guy had an accident and hurt himself.
If he was blind, how did he have a Drivers License???

That wasn't clear since the contest still seems to be active (the webpage is still there to enter). Maybe Ford did this for him for some PR and the car winner hasn't been chosen yet? Am I starting to sound like TG with all these questions?
