Cool use for this??
I seen this in an email from Ford. Pretty cool but to bad it did not work like Lexus without a key! But cool just the same. Makes the port functional if nothing else!

Yeah, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to have to still put the key in and put it to the start position then have to use the button. Why complicate the process and add steps? It would have a cool factor though.

I don't see any sense in those either. You take up the good use of a power port when you need one just so you can turn the key and press a button. Might as well put the start button on the floor like they used to in the really old cars like the I think pre-1955's.

just press the clutch and bellow out "start my engine".....

I have the push start on my 500. Its a cool novelty. I kind of like that you still need the key. Otherwise, anyone could drive off with the car.
