Sort of what I thought. If you don't need the plug, nice way to fill it, and make it functional in a sense. Lot of guys bought other decorative inserts, I just thought it was sort of "race car" cool. Not that I would buy one LOL.

A couple of years ago, I found someone that had the GT500 faux gas cap attached to a power port plug. The gas cap was about the size of a quarter. I now have it in the power port of the Shelby and it looks good.

That's who it was. They are cool and I ordered 2 of them at the time. I had one in the Mustang GT that I traded in on the Shelby. I put it in my pocket when I cleaned out the car to trade in and the top came off from the bottom. That was my first mod (ha ha) to the Shelby because I used the backup one. They are alot better looking than the factory one.

I think the new Lincoln (MKS? T? Sounded like a nice approach from what I'd read.

There are alot of high end imports that hae that feature. Lexus and Infinity are two that I believe have them. I think thiers lock s the doors when you just start to get out of range. It is a nice feature to have if you need to get away in a hurry.

I think you mean radio, invention of which is credited to Marconi but was actually predated but not patented by Nicola Tesla. However since our crazy Canuck friend is so jazzed about the telephone I would like to point out that Alexander Graham Bell was in fact born in Scotland and only moved to Canada when he was 23. Although much of his work on the telephone was done in Canada he also did a great deal in a lab in Boston.

yeah, I think the Lincoln un/locks the doors too ...kinda nice feature. And if someone car-jacks you the engine prolly shuts down as you exit (dunno).
