Jim D'Amore Sr interviews Jesse Kershaw (Ford Racing Technology) about the new Ford Cobra Jet Mustang -- a lot of good tidbits of info

 ;-)Seems like more of a bargain price too once you see all they put into it ...auto option too! A lot of nice pieces will hit the FRP catalog Wonder why they only went with a twin 62.5 TB. It's 8.5% more area but a twin 65 would be about 17.5% more. George, do you recall if the CJ is an alloy block ...no mention in that vid and I can't recall. Any idea what the liberty trans option is? Also, I noticed that Liberty Gears shows a CJ in the pics at the top of their main page -- prolly 1 of the 2 with their auto? It clicks to a nice hi-res pic too.

The transmission is a "drag racing " transmission. Fast up shifts but you can't downshift so it is useless on the street.

Yeah the car was driven by John Force ...he went 10.80 in it . FRPP will be auctioning off this particular car at Barrett Jackson. I think the proceeds will go into FRPP's drag racing program .
