The Scenic Route - TG's Big Adventure

So me and my navigator Co Pilot decided to go to the Evolution Performance show in DC Pennsylvania.

We headed out on what looked like an iffy day with all the clouds and such, but it soon turned out to be really nice.

We headed across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel, 17 miles of nothingness.




Had to stop for a relief break...




Then we headed back out on our journey.

At some point my navigator lovely and vivacious bead lady extraordinair forgot to check on our driving itinerary.

So we did a little site seeing...

First we came upon the capital of Delaware, or Washington DC or whatever...



We got a little taste of culture.


Had to take another relief break...



Then we took a little shortcut...



Looped around to get back on track...



And finally found our bridge back toward EVO...



Decided to make a quick siteseeing stop...




Another relief stop...



Then made it to Black Vert SS's house to see his cardboard and 2x4 car.

We had an awesome time at his house and he was such a great host until we found out about his little secret in the basement.

We had some awesome Mafia food and even a bundt cake.



We spent the night at a hotel with the Bad family, the whole place was rocking and rolling! Seemed that Black Vert had been slipping extra 5 lb bags of sugar to the Bad Kids, which were actually pretty good.

The next day we headed out to Evo.

Seems like a rival gang had ratted us out...



After I sweet talked the lady officer, who entered the bikini contest, we were all released right after the strip search.

Most of the pics were lost in the raid later that day, but I did get a shot of my car at EVO.



Time for more relief...



Before heading out for dinner, we were able to snag a few shots of the fast color cars...













These short people asked for a pic by our cars...




After filling the Bad Kids w/ more sugar and sending them back to Badboy and Badgirl , we crashed for the night. Crashed in bed, not on a curb.

The next morning (this morning), we headed on our journey home.


We decided on a little siteseeing...




...another relief break...




...and then back across the Bridge/Tunnel...




All in all it was a great trip.

Getting to see Johnny Dangerously, GT500Flyboy and Birdman again was a pleasure. And getting to meet Black Vert SS was a must.

Getting to spend some time w/ the Bad family again really made the whole trip that much more enjoyable.


Got home just in time for another relief break...
