Why would you want to use it for the web? As JD said - good if you didn't have a computer. But you can also get on Playstation's site so you can play against others, download games/updates, you can also download whole movies if you want - can rent like you can do on cable TV or Satellite, or download them for ever and "buy" them.

We got my parents a Wii for Christmas to help keep them active. So far we have played the golf, bowling, and baseball.

It is real fun. I may actually spend more time with my folks now.

I did see that they have Need for Speed Underground and Medal of Honor for the Wii.

Turn it on. Open the Browser from the main menu screen and it works like any other browser. Hook-up a bluetooth keyboard though to your PS3 it will make typing text a lot easier.

I bowled a 190 last night. Not bad! I think we got something like Need for Speed for Badboy Jr. He has about 4 racing games for the wii and 6 for his PSP.....No hes not spoiled!!!

have the wii...its awesome...got it for the wife last year....also bought her the wii fit...its actually really challenging..the only thing is it say "oh after I step on it to be weighed...then the first time I had my wii I created a nice skinny wii Me...stepped on the wii fit and it gave me my fitness profile...then my cartoon wii me....bloated out in the belly area....jeesh its bad enough that I am big...(nice word for fat) but now my video game image of myself has to be big as well... anyways..some great family games besides the common wii play, wii sports and wii fit, is the new Outdoor challenge...its a blast....by the way bowled a 300 on the wii a few months ago....the wii is fun for sure...have not played online much...I usually play the xbox360 online and the newly acquired PS3 that my son got a little...its also cool that you can browse with the ps3....a neat feature.....

We have a Wii and XBOX 360 (as well as other gaming systems) but I have never hooked them up online. I tried the 360 the other night but did not want to pay to play. Nice to know the Wii is free! I would be up for this! My wife and I have been getting into Guitar Hero as I got it for xmas (Aerosmith version). We played for about 3 hours last night!

Love the bowling! Badboy Jr got a 199 last night...Kicked my butt thats for sure! We have several games to last us awhile ...... Will get more in the furture. Would definelty like to figure out how to hook up to play online with other people....

My favorite part on the bowling is the practice where you can knock down like 200 pins! That is so cool!

We have we fit and sports also. Wii Fit is fun for all the family. My daughter is best at Lotus Focus. My wife is the hula hoop champ. I am the slalom champ and typically best at the ski jump but my wife got lucky and beat my high score. My daughter (3 YO) loves the soccer game where you head the balls and the step game.

I would like to hear others impressions about networking and playing online as I want to do that on both the 360 and the Wii.

"Santa" tried to get the Wii fit, but has been sold out everywhere around here for about 1-2 months now.....Will wait...I will be working on how to network and connect online because it sounds like a blast!
