That reminds me of a Steve Martin skit. One about plumbers at a convention. Don't remember the set up, but the punch line was, "I said socket, not sprocket."

Don't know why that got triggered in the maze of neurons in my brain. But it did.

Those of you who aren't plumbers probably won't get this and won't think it's funny, but I think those of you who are plumbers will really enjoy this. This lawn supervisor was out on a sprinkler maintenance job, and he started working on a Findlay sprinkler head with a Langstrom seven-inch gangly wrench. Just then this little apprentice leaned over and said, 'You can't work on a Findlay sprinkler head with a Langstrom seven-inch wrench.' Well, this infuriated the supervisor, so he went and got Volume 14 of the Kinsley manual, and he reads to him and says, 'The Langstrom seven-inch wrench can be used with the Findlay sprocket.' Just then the little apprentice leaned over and says, 'It says sprocket, not socket!' [Worried pause.] "Were these plumbers supposed to be here this show?"

I know a joke about this...it's not very good but I'll tell it anyway.

A woman with a propensity for farting interviews for a job at a hamburger restaurant. She gets offered the job, but feels that she must tell her boss about the problem she has.

He says "that's ok, just put a pickle in there while you're on your shift, we have plenty of pickles in the back room, and throw it out when you're done."

So for 6 weeks she does really well...no gas issues at work.

Then one day she goes into work and there is only one pickle left in the barrel. She hears someone from the kitchen ask for a pickle to make a burger, so she leaves it there and hopes to survive her shift without her helper.

She goes out behind the counter and helps a customer who asks for a burger with pickles. She turns to pick up the burger just made with that very last pickle, turns to hand it to the guy, and let's loose a big gush of wind.

The guy says to her "wow, you sure let out a plopper". And she responded "That's cause you took my stopper."
