When I was a young pup growing up in a log, I never once imagined that I would ever be elevated to such a pedistal of honor by my peers.

I've been trying to understand how perfectly the stars and planets must have been aligned. Then to the hard years of my study of quantum physics with nothing but the light of the moon to illuminate my books and my mind. I thought maybe it could be all of the wonderful things that I did for my fellow man. Still not satisified this was the right answer, I rushed off to Tibet to mediate on the tallest peak of the Hymalas only to get frozen acorns.

I thought about the other youngs squirrels who stole my acorns and pushed me off the branches and the lessons I learned from that. Never trust a squirrel and cutting torches remove forensic evidence from firearms. No, thats probably not it.

Maybe it was Ma and Pa Carnut, who sent me to work in a sweat shop at the age of 2 to make textiles for the Chinese. I learned about how to make bodies disappear and forging wills, could that be it, probably not.

It became increasingly hard for me to understand how I had been picked by a cadry of learned scholars. It had to be more. I had learned what the "One Thing" was, but I never told anyone.

So I guess I remain perplexed. I do need to get the list of who voted for me and who did not from Max so I can pay.....er.........thank them. And the list of who did not vote for me too. I know he has one, that stuff about about invisible polls is bull.

I wonder if I now have the power to BAN people, not that I would ever use it. It does sound like a good idea.

So to all of you, I say thanks. Please accept my gratitude because I have little else to offer.

Well, I do have one other thing, my friendship, you can have that.
