Okay,

I have said over and over again that I am not deserving of any honors here however, I will say that due to my work schedule, Shelbyfest might not have happened if it were not for Vapordude.

He worked tirelessly in helping out and was always asking for more to do.

It was an honor meeting those members of "the family" that were able to make it to this year's Shelbyfest and if they were any indicator of the general caliber of people that are on this site, I know those of you I haven't met in person are top notch as well.

Shelbyfest was alot of fun event to help plan. This is something that I really enjoyed help put on. Kyle had inspired me to help out with all the planning and to get sponsors for the show. If it wasn't for Kyle, there wouldn't be Shelbyfest. There alot of miles built up in IM messages leading to late nights but I would trade it for anything and I would do it again in heartbeat. You don't need to ask twice for my help with planning events. We both shared ideas and asked for each others input before a decision was made final.

There were things that I thought about and other things that Kyle thought about. We looked for both good and negative impacts on the show which I think has led shelbyfest to be such a success. I really look forward to helping out again for next year.

I met some really great people and family members at Shelbyfest and seeing others that I have not seen in a while. I look forward to next year so I can make some time and chat with more of you.

Thank you Chef....you have been a great asset to this site as well. I know I don't have alot of technical information but information on my experiences with the Shelby that I try to always share with everyone.
