I'm done with the KR

I made a hard decision today. I am not going to get the KR.

I've waited way too long for it. The manufacture just plain irritates the crap out of me.

The prices of things will drop like a stone in a few short months.

Getting replacement parts will be nearly impossible as I would have to go to the manufacturer.

Based on the trouble other people are having with their Shelby GT's, I am not in the mood to have to go through the same crap if I have an issue.

I have been tottering on the edge for a while now on all of the above and today the economic news was enough to give me that last little nudge.

I'll be stick with Ford only built products from here on.

I am just stating facts.

Why would I want to pay double for a car that will be worth half in 6 months, and go through all the abuse that most of the owners seem to be going through. The hood scoop thing is still not resolved

I even have wondered if the "manufacturer" will even be around in another year to take care of potential issues. And I am not worried about Ford.

I still never heard when the dang thing would be finished either. 2009?

Oh, and that's another thing, the 2009's are out, so you get to pay extra for a year old car?

Hmmmmm..........I think a nice 2008 Gt500 with some major mods can be done for a lot less and a lot more fun. Looking forward to a chance to check out your garage if time permits the weekend after next. Max has given me some intel and sounds impressive.

My dealer still has theirs for around $85,000, and that's a little high.
