I hear ya....They have one for sale here at the dealer where I bought my car...black on black...to me an extremely sharp car. If I could get it for sticker. I would seriously consider it...even with my connections at the dealer...that is not even remotely close to happening..the best I could get was 9k over msrp...I just cant justify that to MYSELF first..then my wife 2nd..knowing this dealership, they will get what they want for it....heck they are still advertising 08 gt500 with ADM of 10k and just sold one (Coupe) with the supercharger upgrade (And nothing else) for 65k. which as I told the sales manager is obsurd..of course when the local guy who bought it showed up to our local meet I was very cordial and did not tell him that I was given the same offer (SC UPGRADE) at msrp plus cost and 1/2 labor on my vista blue....did not want the guy to feel bad...but good for him...sorry I digress...anyhow...dont blame ya carnut

After I posted my displeasure about the way the KR was being handled and that fact that I was now passing, I have gotten some PM's from other unhappy people and afraid to say anything in a post.

One person got a new one, has all kinds of things wrong with it, and can't get it resolved. Gee, sounds like the Shelby GT all over again.

Others are telling their dealers their going to pass.

Guess I made the right choice.

Yea because of late dead lines, overpriced, plus not getting one years depreciation on last years models. Bottom line the company bit off way more than it can chew!

I think the KR is a great car but I wouldn't pay that much for it even at MSRP. There should have been better planning in getting the parts and putting them on the car. I think the reason why people are having problems with their KR's is because once they got the in stock, they were in a hurry to put them on and get them out the door. Every business has their little quirks and problems and this one is no exception.

I know it is a hard decision to make when you have your heart set on something. Maybe if you really want a KR later, you can probably pick up a slightly used one at a cheaper cost. I am sure they will be out there but it will take some hunting and bargaining.

At the risk of resurrecting a discussion best left dead..... the issue's with SGT's, SS's and KR's (including the quality, timeline and outrageous pricing) are exactly why I get so outraged about blocking the availability of "KR" parts. I don't want to deal with 'those people' nor am I interested in their "packages". I would like to do some of the upgrades on the KR and SS's without going to aftermarket parts. If a part is Ford Racing then I should be able to buy it and install it on my car. The availability of Ford Racing customization and upgrades is Mustang tradition, it's one of the things that makes the Mustang cool. I would rather get a GT500 and install the available(unless someone whines too much) parts of my choosing.

I pretty sure the KR will be pretty easy to update to, maybe not exactly, but surely performance wise.

That whole business of getting Ford to pull the KR mufflers just cause SAI whined and hollered was wrong, just wrong. That little incident sent me on my downward spiral.

..just give it a little time......money is the key.....if they can make it....they will sell it

I believe your right on the mark John. FRPP wants to sell as many parts as possible and I'm sure they will do so even sooner than you think certainly as soon as they can.
