i am a real dufus and another frigging mondayy

what a MONDAY today was all FxxKxx up
first my internet went down at work today, then my phone system went down, then the battery died on my cell phone, all with in a 1/2 hour and then i got my new drag radials in and went to put them on and i screwed up a band on one of my wheels taking off a tire, and we used our last one yesterday, boy was i hot, so i went ahead and put it together and decided i would fix it next week, cause i wanted to go play tonite at the track for some test and tune, so i took one of my suppliers for a ride to try it out and see how it hooked , and because he had never been in a GT500, so we went out on the hiway, outside of town, and we went out a couple of miles and i went to warm up the new NITTO'S and spun then a few times and then I launched it about 4500 rpm's and took it up thru the gears, and then i went to turn around at the next intersection and i pulled in and went to back up so i didn't get the tires all gravely and guess what?? NO reverse, nothing WTF
why another monday?? sob was i pissed so i pushed it backwards and went back to town, pulled it back into the shop and shut it off and still no reverse, so i pullled it back on the lift, mad as heck and if i had not already of done the TSB i would have thought it was time to do it, so now i am going to pull it and see wtf is wrong, in neutral running it wants to creep on me sob!!

so now did i xxxx up my clutch or my trany?? i have only put about 1500-2000 miles on both the new flywheel and a totally new transmission
and only about 10 passes down the track last fall, none yet this spring
and to top it off i had thought i had ordered some lca's for a customers car awhile back with some other stuff for him and when they never came i found out that I was a DUFUS

and to top that off when i got home tonite my wife wanted me to install a program from her work on the computer so she could learn a new system for her work, she is in the drug business
the dang cd drive refused to work sob now what so i took apart the computer and blew the dust out, wow about 40 lbs or so and played around with the drivers and it still wont work, so now i need to do a recall on the computer and get a new one i guess, it is only 10 years old or so, till now it has been fantasic sob what a day

..sorry to hear this, it sucks to have crap piled on top of crap..........just today I was talking to service manager about sticking in the new flywheel and clutch....I'm not convinced I shouldn't just upgrade, at my expense, to a better flywheel and clutch...

oh yea, with only 4700 or so mile on my car it is covered, but with all of the recalls i have done , it wont be pretty
and my shop is busy so that means , i either have to pull rank or suffer

When you say "no reverse", do you mean you can't put the shifter into the position where reverse is? or do you mean you can get the shifter handle there, but the car won't go backwards?

You might try taking the console boot off, remove the shifter plate off the top of the trannie, and seeing if the shifter linkage looks ok inside the tranny.

i did this all ready
with the engine running all gears are almost impossible,
with the engine off i can find the gears, and start it up and with my foot on the clutch it creeps

BTW, I hope I you & I are never on the same flight!. Sorry about your troubles. It is a good thing you work @ a Ford store. I had a coworker in my GT500 yesterday @ our dealership & I spun the rear end in the first 3 gears to show off the power. Well, as I was letting on in 3rd gear, I hit a slight dip or swail in the blacktop & the front end dipped & the rear end started to go out of control. Luckily I was able to control the car & bring it to a safe rest. I did come about 3 feet away from a row of new 2009 GMC Acadia's. That would not have been good.
