Arrival of Secret Santa Gifts.....

Well, the greatest fear of every mafia family member is to have the infamous concrete truck show up on their front doorstep...and that happened to me today......

....turns out, it was a gift concrete truck from my secret santa...so now I have one on hand to send out immediately when one of you guys gets out of hand......

...and like every good shelby owner, the mods started immediately.....nothing like making sure the world knows where this concrete truck is coming from....the intimidation factor so to speak....

My Secret Santa also sent me a couple of cars....wisely choosing the fastest color scheme.....

...oh, wait........false alarm........its really a gift card to "man heaven", otherwise known as Home Depot..........

ADULT CHRISTMAS LIST

So glad that you had as much fun with it as TG and I did. He was with me when I just happen to notice a concrete truck out of the corner of my eye, while not looking for it. After I had checked Target, Walmart, and K-mart for a Hot Wheels concrete truck with no luck. I couldn't find one to save my life. I thought that idea was history. Then just to have one appear while not even looking. It was surely a sign.

...and a second wonderful gift just showed up....my youngest Mark, just got home from college after his first semester/freshman year......goes to University of Missouri in Columbia, two hours away, so we do get to see him once in a while....

he is home for 4 weeks now over Christmas break....and he got a C+ in Calculus, a course that he was failing badly after the first couple of exams.....he sucked it up, did what he needed to do, and brought his grades way up.....he and I and Linda are very pleased..

Congrats to him. calculus is not easy. Only after working in the engineering world for a few years did I have any clue why you'd need to integrate a function. We used it to calculate the area under a heat release curve on diesel engines, which gave us the thermal efficiency of the engine.
