Found a sure fired way to knock 70 to 80 pounds off the loaded weight of the GT500........

Go to my doctor and hand him my lab results.....As of this morning, I am now on multiple drugs and am under strict orders (from him and my wife) regarding what I am allowed to put into my mouth (other than my foot)......

Need to make it down to 190........I have lost 50-60 pounds in the past a couple of times, but always put it back on due to failure to really change my lifestyle.....the doctor is now talking life expectancy and has a bit more of my attention......

oh well, maybe I will be so skinny by shelbyfest that no one will recognize me.....yea, other than that scraggly ponytail thingy........LOL

I hear you after 3 vsits to the doc, I am on mega doses of HBP and Hypertension meds and have a surgery coming on the 5th. They got my attention in a simialr manner to yours.

The first couple weeks will be tough but you will start feeling better and making progress towards your goal. As you start seeing the results of your efforts and feeling better...this will give you continued drive. I know you can do it John, and I know you will succeed.

I know how you feel. I have been on a weight loss schedule for a bit. I had lost about ten pounds until my cruise and the holidays crept in.

I hope to be about 20-25 lbs down by Shelbyfest as well.

I feel your pain. I work out 5 days a week and have changed my physique for the better, but can't drop any weight. My belly refuses to leave. It's due to my unwillingness to change my eating habits...

Good luck John, I'm sure you'll make good choices. Losing weight is hard, but it beats the alternatives. I'm going on a "lifestyle change" in January...we can do it together. Looking forward to seeing the skinnier JL in April.
