Reached my interim goal for one week...the most difficult. Lost 7 pounds in one week...only 3 more pounds to go.
I'm now adding in a bit of protein and carbs, so the weight loss will reduce...may take me another 10-14 days to lose the 3 pounds. I also bought a new belt. ![]()

Nice work Dave. Maintaining is a job in itself. I kind of cheated this week a little. I had 2 graduation parties to go to and my mom made us super good brownies. Plus we went to the rose fest and had some good food. So anyway...I put on a couple pounds this week. I'm still working out everyday so I figure I deserve to splurge now and then. My body fat is under 11% now.

Had a great week of working out at 24 Hour Fitness Monday - Thursday. I hit the hills at my house Fri - Sunday running 5 miles each day. Just finished knocking out 5 miles. I must say that my body sure feels good these days.

I was using the wrong setting on the scale. It has 2 settings. One for normal people and one for people that do more than 12 hours or more per week of aerobic activity and has a heart beat of 60 beats per minute. People like this need to have the setting on "athlete" mode for most accurate results.
I work out every day...so I changed the setting to athlete mode a few weeks ago. Now the scale is reading my true fat. |

Well done Rob!
I met my goal of 8 pounds last week and am now on a "maintenance" diet.....Basically I eat anything I want some meals, and really curtail on other meals. In the fall I'll do another weight loss effort to get to my final goal...another 6-7 pounds and I'm "good to go".
