....just thought I would open up a small piece of turf where I can voice/scream my frustration whenever the newly elected democratic government screws things up royally, at least from my perspective......

I am still hoping for the democrats to not get 60 in the senate, or there goes the filibuster possibility.......

feel free to jump in and rant and rave a bit whenever you feel the need.....

Liberal Socialist Democrats = LSD, the drug of choice among the demon democrats who have emotional hallucinations instead of factual thoughts and beliefs....

there, I feel a bit better now, like a small belch after a large meal; you know there are more belches to come, but every little bit helps.....

I'm truly sad right now.


We went to dinner tonight with the kids. When I was paying the bill at the counter, I heard 2 people talking about who they voted for and why. Here's the conversations (99% accurate word-for-word).

Old Minnesotan guy: (in a very thick Minnesooootan accent) I voted for dat Obama. He said on da TV ads dat the reason my son lost his job was b'cause of dat President Bush and McCain. He's goin'ta fix that right up and dat's good enough for me!

Old Minnesotan guy #2: (also in a very thick Minnesoooootan accent) I wasn't sure who ta vote for 'til does nice Obama volunteers showed up at my door last week. I told 'em dat I was havin' a hard time payin for da mortgage. And ya know what dey said? Dey said that it vas Bush and McCains fault - and dat Obama vas goin'ta fix dat right up so dat does greedy banks can't take my house! Dat vas good'ta nuf for me, ya!





Honest - that was pretty much exactly what they said.


I told the wife when I got in the car and she couldn't believe it.



Between that and the video HSURB posted earlier I'm sick. Just sick.

The man is our president. We are all americans. We should support him until proven otherwise. At best the possiblilties are endless. At worst maybe another Jimmy Carter. I didn't vote for him but in the best interest of the country I hope he proves you all wrong.
This country has been turning socialist since 1913 when the income tax was enacted. I don't remember a republican ever voting against SOCIAL security or many other entitlements that could be called socialist. We get what we vote in office no matter what the party.

You won't get flamed here for expressing an opinion whether or not anyone agrees with it. Anyway, we don't have Dogs. We have Squirrels and Fat Guys (me included).

Jeff maybe you should start running for Pres now for the next election . If your against a socialist Gov you'd have my vote.
Problem is the entitlement mentality has been promoted by the left for so many years now that most minorities ,young college age adults ,and women have embraced it,and a growing # of main stream Americans. Now it looks like we will be paying for it.....literally.

I am hoping for more of a Clinton era than a Carter era; the inflation rate and jobless rate under Carter was most troubling; it took a long time for the country to recover. Clinton was a fairly pragmatic guy, and overall a good administrator.
