Black Friday
Anyone else brave the early morning rush to get some deals?
This was the first time in *many* years that I ventured out into the stupidity as I'll be doing much of the shopping this year. If it wasn't for some of the awesome deals out there I wouldn't have gone. Here's my report: - Target - decent deals on a few games I was looking for; best customer service, hands down - I was asked if I needed help by a new worker every few minutes it seemed; unfortunately they were out of a few key items a hour after they opened. - Walmart - horrible customer service, even at the newer store near me that usually is close to Target in service levels; very good deals - too bad I didn't need a HDTV as they had some killer deals; ran out of a few key items forcing me to go to another store down the road to find the stuff. - Best Buy - decent service; good deals on a lot of different products; like the rest, ran out of key items quickly. - Circuit City - no one cared at that store - the worst service of them all; out of a lot of stuff; ok deals, but nothing overly special. -

I just saw this...
Wal-Mart worker dies after shoppers knock him down - Yahoo! News How very sad. Some of these people are just idiots. I was shoved by women (as most of the early shoppers seems to be women) all morning. It's like they left their manners at home and turned into savages. What is wrong with people???  Is a cheap TV worth a man's life??? I wonder if you could prosecute all 200 of those people for his death? -

To take a mans life over "Doorbusters" sales is unspeakable! I have never and never will venture out on Black Friday for any deals. Yes, people leave their manners home and are determined to get in first.Will admit mostly woman. In my book, there is no deal out there worth the aggreviation !( I dont like to shop anyways) I would rather pay full price or even a sales price...I dont need or want anything that bad! Yes, I wish all 2000 people could be charged in that mans death! He was just doing his job...... and paid for it with his life! No words for that!

I ventured out virtually to shop this morning on-line. No crowds, no at***udes, no taxes, & no shipping. Found just what I wanted too.
