In the coming weeks I am to have my TSB done on my clutch.
I have changed/flushed my fluid to a new fluid. Motul RBF 600. I will be bringing a quart or so to the dealer so that they will use it when doing the change. If the dealer insists that for warranty they need to use the factory fluid should I be concerned? This brake fluid 'type' is the same base as factory fluid. How much fluid if any do you think they will need? .

If there is excessive wear on the clutch it will increase the amount of tension and cause a stiffer pedal as it wears more. As the cast iron flywheel gets heated up excessivly it will expand and due to it's ability to retain heat it will reduce the norman clearence between it and the clutch . This will cause the clutch to remain partially enguaged while the pedal is depressed which will cause premature clutch wear as well as syncro wear and eventually lead to failure of the clutch and possibly transmission .
