This is an easy mod for those who haven't done it yet.
This stiffens up the Torque box area of the car and ties in the front LCA mount to the frame rail. The Steeda torque box bracing. It is a bolt on mod, but they do recommend having it welded on. I will be welding it later. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Left over parts...factory wipers. Not sure exactly what these are for... ![]() .

+1 I have removed mine to fit the driveshaft safety loop. After about 2,000 miles I checked...no damage to gas tanks yet. I would think Ford could have found a lighter-weight solution to debris deflection. :bangin:

I wonder if for the cost of these parts/bolts/installation, if it would have been cheaper to just use a Rhino line type product on the tank bottoms. That stuff is super tough and would do the same as the wipers. .

One Question, could you have re-installed those wipers? those are aero strakes

probably, but would have to modify/cut them to fit. i have the same braces. all they do is deflect debris...no big deal...since i dont drive on dirt or rocky roads fast..or at all....

+1 Also, not sure I will be welding them on knowing that if any frame work ever needs to be done they have to be removed to bolt to frame machine..

I see where Steeda recommends welding them, I suspect bolt on is adiquate?

The Evo one's are better,..They don't rely on one 10 mm bolt & 1 12mm on the rear to hold them inplace. The Evo one's you pass the LCA bolt through it, so it is a stronger mounting point. ...JMO.
How's this for stiff....Ya that's only one jack at the fr lift point. ![]()

Why wouldn't it fit convertibles? Some different bracing under the car? I know another reinforcing part that is used on all convertible Mustangs and is found on all Shelby's also. ![]() .

These pieces go between the fender and radiator support both sides and stiffen/attach it to the frame only on verts and GT500's... What is this? .

theres two additional braces that run from where the lca mounts to the body back to the pinion area.."v" shaped when viewed from the rear.
