Florida Standing Mile Top Speed Challenge
OK Guys so I have had this project in the works for a while, and it's getting very close to being a reality. The plan is to do standing mile top speed runs for all classes of cars and bikes. The track is going to be a private air strip in Miami that is 2 miles long so there will be plenty of room to slow down! There will be traps at the end of the mile and everyone will get a print out of their top speed. I plan to organize different classes and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. I'm just trying to get a feel for people that would be interested in running their cars. The cost to participate in this event should run about $300. Questions, comments and input will be greatly appreciated.

I would love to, I wish you were closer to Wi. I burned up my long travel time with the Shelby going to Shelby Fest. If I don't take the wife on a vacation other than cars this year.....it's been about 7years... I might be biting off more than I can chew!

this would be a blast.
Have a photographer and set up plaques that can be ordered with pics and their top speed. I wish I was in the area to give it a run..
