Reproduction yes, but one of one and commissioned by him (CS) hence the inclusion into the Registry. It'll pull big bucks.

Because CS "commissioned" a car, it's now officially a Shelby?


Guess he can start a whole new line of "Official Shelby" classic cars now. Can I take a junked C-code, have CS "bless" the car (ie: pay him) and it's now an official in-the-registry Shelby?

That car would be cool th have. I dont think that Ron P. wants it because Shelby would just call him up and deal done. Anything that Shelby modifies is considered a Shelby car right? That car will go for big money though.To bad for me whats left of the family fortune tied up in the stock market

With that in mind, do you think if I can SS my car myself, drive it to SAI and pay CS to bless it? I would save tons of money doing it myself even with the drive.

If they are pre-approving bidders, this can take a long time see how long it takes for a SS conversion. I don't think JoeG can bid on this since he is banned over at the other site. I bet you need to be a member at the other site to get approved. That's one way to get your member count up.

This is what i think and i know no one cares
BJ. just had a auction at a hotel in there own back yard. The crowd had money falling on the ground from there pockets and now all of a sudden they want to sell a car. I seem to see Carroll standing on stage just like every year. I figure that every car that Shelby Autos sells to benefit the Childrens Foundation Has been sold at BJ so far. So why the Ebay auction.?

BJ takes 15% from the seller and the buyer, eBay takes a lot less and if your read the whole auction it is a "portion" that will go to charity, the rest I assume is into Carroll's jeans, so ebay is just a cheaper method to sell. Further, it reaches a much wider audience than BJ.

Still no takers I think they should have let the people set the opening bid rather than start at 1000,000 seems kind of high. If they didn't meet there reserve than they don't have to sell,but opening bid is so high it has scared away serious buyers.
